Taoism (or Daoism) is an arrangement of theory and religion that emerged in China around 2,500 years prior. The founder, Lao-tzu (or Laozi), inhabited the same time as another exceedingly persuasive Chinese rationalist, Confucius. While Confucianism is to a great extent worried with ethics and obligation, Taoism is more magical and joyful. Both frameworks of thought have molded Chinese society.
