A rescue vehicle is a vehicle used to transport individuals who are sick or harmed. Most ambulances are vans with raised rooftops.
Most rescue vehicle advancements occurred amid wartime. In the mid 1800s the French armed force utilized two-wheeled, steed attracted wagons to convey troopers to front line clinics. In the 1860s open doctor's facilities started keeping their own steed drawn ambulances. The initially mechanized emergency vehicle was inherent 1899. Planes were utilized as ambulances interestingly amid World War I (1914–18). Helicopters initially served as ambulances amid the Korean War (1950–53).
